Pam Reed graduated from Western Washington University in 1985 with a BA in Business Administration and decided to make Whatcom County her home. She owns Alicia's Bridal & The Formal House in Bellingham, and has been dressing brides and grooms for over 30 years.
Pam joined the Blue Skies board after volunteering for several years at the Annual Dinner & Charity Auction after hearing what a difference granting a Little Wish for a child, can make! These children would not otherwise have the chance to participate in music lessons, summer camp, or play a sport. Little Wishes can really make these kids feel equal to their peers and possibly offer an opportunity to a child that helps them discover their passion. These activities build self esteem at a young age and give children the confidence in themselves that they need. Pam believes strongly that this is the key to a healthy productive adulthood.
Pam seeks to expand opportunities for homeless, low-income and foster children by sharing how much Blue Skies can make a difference in the life of a child.
Pam enjoys spending her free time with her husband, traveling, cooking, and building their dream home together.
