Dick Meyer said these words often and his actions left a legacy of support for the children in our community. Blue Skies is proud to honor Dick's legacy by partnering with the entire Team at Dewey Griffin Subaru to meet the needs of low-income, homeless, and foster youth in our community. ​

Impacts
No matter the size of your gift, you have the power with your support to have a big impact on the lives of children in our community through our Little Wishes Enrichment, Back-to-School Shoe & Backpack Give, Winter Warm Up Distribution, and Drivers' Education Scholarships.

                             $90 = One-Time Little Wish including a new bike, summer camp, or activity supplies
                             $100 = Little Wish Enrichment Program of ongoing sports, music, dance lessons
                             $250 = Summer Camp or Sports League Enrollment

Ongoing Donations
​You can make a significant difference in a child's life by enrolling in our Monthly Giving Program. Consistent giving offers children the opportunity to participate in meaningful, on-going extracurricular activities such as music lessons, dance lessons, sports, and martial arts. They learn and grow from participating in these activities and the successes they experience build hope , self-esteem, and self-confidence.

Monthly Giving is a convenient way to donate and provides Blue Skies for Children with a sustainable and reliable revenue stream, enabling us to better budget and grow our programs.

With a small staff focused on providing services, it is challenging to create multiple meaningful events to share our mission and fundraise. Fundraise

• Host a shoe, coat, and/or backpack drive to solicit donations of new items for our Back2School Boost.
• Team up with friends, coworkers, or your church & create a 5/10/15 donation club (5 friends, 10 months, $15/month each)
• Put on a community event - concert, picnic, car wash, walk-a-thon, etc.
• Take up a collection at your holiday party, bunco group or bridge party, church group, etc.
• Clean out your closets with a Yard Sale and gift proceeds to Blue Skies for Children.
