Amy Brown was born and raised in Seattle and relocated to Bellingham in 2022 to be closer to her now husband, Caleb. She began her career in the aviation industry as a flight attendant for Alaska Airlines, where she developed a deep appreciation for working with people and navigating complex situations with care. Over time, a growing passion for finance and investing led her to pursue a career in the investment advisory world. She is now proud to be part of the team at Tradewinds Capital Management.
Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through pickleball, golfing, fishing, and spending time outdoors. As a child, she was involved in Girl Scouts, softball, and volleyball—experiences that taught her lifelong lessons about teamwork, confidence, and perseverance. These experiences continue to shape her values and drive her desire to ensure all children have access to similar opportunities, no matter their financial situation.
Her connection to youth development began early through babysitting and grew over ten years to include serving in the church nursery and participating in a mission trip to orphanages in Romania. She is passionate about supporting programs that empower children through enrichment, learning, and community connection.
