Tamara Carrington | Director

​Growing up in the vibrant Bay Area of California, Tamara developed a love for diversity and adventure. Her career began in the insurance and finance sectors, where she honed her skills before taking on the role of Northwest Cosmetic Regional Manager for Nordstrom. This opportunity brought her to Washington state, where she eventually settled in the picturesque Whatcom County—a place that quickly captured her heart.
 
Driven by a desire to help others and stay active in her community, Tamara transitioned to a career in banking during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her natural affinity for customer service led her to Mountain Pacific Bank in Bellingham, where she now serves as the Customer Service Manager.
 
Tamara and her husband Jeffery reside in beautiful Birch Bay, where they indulge in their love for the outdoors through boating, hiking, fishing, and golfing. As avid outdoor enthusiasts, they also rescue and train dogs, a passion they both share. Their commitment to the community is evident in their extensive volunteer work, especially with causes close to their hearts. Tamara is particularly passionate about supporting children in the foster system and is thrilled to be involved with Blue Skies for Children.
