Samantha Gilden | Community Engagement Intern

Samantha was born and raised in the small but mighty town of North Bend, WA. She moved up to Bellingham in the fall of 2023 to attend Western Washington University and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology, with the intent to graduate in the spring of 2026.  Samantha currently works at WWU as a peer academic advisor and was previously employed as a childcare supervisor at an elementary school. 

When she's not at school or work, Samantha has quite a few hobbies. She loves to go thrifting, watch movies, take long walks, and bake delicious treats. She adores the rainy cold weather here in Washington, especially when paired with a hot cup of apple cider!
