Rebecca Sutch | Community Engagement Intern

Rebecca Sutch is a freelance writer and editor as well as a student at Full Sail University, where she's working towards her bachelor's degree in media and communications. She grew up in sunny southern California and went to high school outside of Yosemite National Park, then spent a few years in the tri-city area outside of Seattle. But like many others, she visited Bellingham just once and immediately fell in love with the city and its beautiful views and decided to call it home in 2020.

Rebecca also volunteers as a committee member for Hunger Vs. Hunger, a fundraising campaign for the Bellingham Food Bank, assisting with marketing and communications. When she's not working, in school, or volunteering, she's either painting flowers on her furniture, throwing herself down mountains at high speeds (mountain biking,) or curled up with a good book and a cup of Sleepy Time Tea.
