A One-Time Little Wish is a single, one-time award designed to support a specific wish or enrichment opportunity for a child. Each Little Wish request is tailored to meet the unique interests or needs of the child.

One-Time Little Wish Eligibility

Thank you to our 2025 Program Sponsors
  • Child must be school aged enrolled in kindergarten through 12th grade, -and- 
  • Applicants must be referred to Blue Skies for Children by a referral partner or meet eligibility requirements (low-income, homeless, or foster), -and- 
  • Applicants must live in Whatcom or Skagit County, -and- ​
  • Applicants cannot also be receiving Ongoing Enrichment through Blue Skies for Children

Enrollment Periods and Award Announcements for 2026

Send in Application: April 1st - April 30th
Awards announced: After May 11th 

One-Time Little Wishes are limited in number and may not cover the full requested.
​Little Wishes granted generally range from $50.00 - $150.00. Wishes are awarded through a Lottery System.

  • Enrichment Activity: School Trip, Membership Fee, Registration Fee
  • Camp: After-School Camp, Day Camp, Summer Camp
  • Equipment: Sport Uniform, Sport Cleats, Sport Equipment
  • ​Financial Support for Driver's Education
