Hailey currently lives in Bellingham, where she grew up, with her partner and their black lab, Piper. Growing up, she notes her participation in cross country, basketball, softball, and viola as invaluable experiences which sparked her commitment to ensuring all young people have access to opportunities for character development. She’s currently pursuing her Master's in Civil Engineering with a goal of advancing the resilience of our energy infrastructure. She brings analytical thinking and community passion to her work as a Program Coordinator at Puget Sound Energy where she focuses on equitable access to clean energy programs. Mountain biking, golf, watersports, and spending time with her family and friends on Orcas Island are some of her favorite activities.
Her dedication to youth development shines through her involvement with Girls on the Run and her creation of Girls on Wheels, a winter enrichment program that promotes personal development through scootering, skateboarding, and rollerblading. Hailey is motivated by the idea our youth will shape the future of our communities and is passionate about expanding access to experiences that empower young people to reach their full potential. |
