Summer Fun!

Fun Fridays at Lee Memorial Park
Friday July 18th, August 8th, and August 22nd from 11am-2pm
Every Friday has a new theme or activity for kids of all ages to enjoy with parental supervision! No registration needed. 

Swing Connection & Bellingham Youth Jazz Band, Village Green
Sunday July 20 from 12:00pm-3:00pm at the Fairhaven Village Green
Enjoy live music from the swing era on a sunny afternoon! All ages welcome. 

Kids Fest
Saturday August 2nd from 10:00am-2:00pm at Bellingham's Civic Stadium
Enjoy exciting games, creative workshops, and activities for humans of all ages! A true Bellingham classic community event. 

Shakespeare in the Park: As You Like It by BAAY
Saturday August 2nd and Sunday August 3rd from 1:00-3:00pm at the Boulevard Park Stage (in case of Rain, it will be at the BAAY Theatre)
Enjoy a classic Shakespearean tale, performed by kids ages 13-18 as the heroine Rosalind flees persecution in her Uncle's court to find transformative love and acceptance!

SPARK in the PARK: Fun with Flight
Saturday August 16th at the Squalicum Park Shelter from 10:30am-12:00pm
Enjoy a series of science pop-ups for all ages!

Big Band Bonanza
Sunday August 17th from 12:30pm-5:00pm at the Fairhaven Village Green
Enjoy live music from Bellingham's "Swing Connection", Mount Vernon's "Skagit Swings", and Anacortes' "A'Town Band" for sizzling swing classics on a sunny afternoon! All ages welcome. ​

Whatcom Museum: Free First Fridays
Beginning January 2024, on each first Friday of the month, the Whatcom Museum will have free admission, extended hours until 9 p.m. and special, free programming! Each month, they’ll bring a different mix of artists, performers, and experts to lead workshops and activities for all ages.

Launching Success Free Storytime
Calling all little readers ages 5 and under! Join us for a magical hour of stories, songs, and crafts! This FREE storytime is the perfect way to spark your child’s imagination and creativity. Held weekly from 11-11:30am on Thursdays.
