Myah Dawkins, Program Coordinator After graduating from high school in Longview, Washington Myah moved to Bellingham to attend Western Washington University. She studied Business Administration with a concentration in International Business as well as French. During her time at Western, Myah was involved with the Asia University America Program where she worked as an International Peer Advisor with students who study abroad at Western. The highlight of Myah’s time at Western was being a part of Campus Christian Fellowship, a campus ministry at Western. In that community she grew in her faith and gained lifelong friendships. During her free time Myah is likely to be found enjoying the beauty of Bellingham Bay at Boulevard Park, enjoying a coffee at a local coffee shop, or cooking a meal for friends. She is excited to join the team at Blue Skies for Children as she is passionate about the mission of raising hope and self-esteem in children. In her position as Program Coordinator, Myah loves taking the administrative skills that she has learned in school and combining them with her love for children. A smile on a child’s face when they get a new Winter coat and stories of how a child is growing through activities sponsored by Blue Skies for Children are what make her excited to come to work each day.
