Holly Ste.Marie, Administrative Coordinator Holly grew up in Spokane, Washington where she graduated from Mt. Spokane High School. In her time there, she participated in various extracurricular activities, including volleyball, basketball, tennis, yearbook, student store, DECA, etc. She thoroughly enjoyed her time in high school and desired to continue her education. Upon graduation from high school, she made the decision to continue her schooling at Western Washington University and make the move across the state to Bellingham to study Business Management, where she will graduate in the fall 2017. Holly also volunteers her time as a community group leader with a local college ministry in which she leads a group of women. The group is called Ekklesia and is associated with Christ the King Church.
Holly is passionate in serving youth, as she coaches a girls U15 club volleyball team in Whatcom County several days a week year round. She also spends a couple nights a week as a volleyball ref in the parks and rec's department for the City of Bellingham.
In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her friends, photography, and continuing to discover all the beautiful things Bellingham has to offer. Holly got connected through Blue Skies for Children in her job search. She knew she wanted to be in a job where she found joy in her work and Blue Skies offered that and more.
In all that Holly has participated in over the years, she has a deep understanding of the joy that can come from being an active member in the community and what this can do for a child’s self-esteem. This is why she loves the mission of Blue Skies for Children and their goal of providing opportunities for youth who may not otherwise be able to afford it. Holly’s passion for serving youth and administrative work aligned with the Administrative Coordinator position and she is excited to contribute to their mission, vision and values.
