I believe every child has the potential to be a productive member of society.  Children will become our future leaders, and as adults it’s our responsibility to teach them well so they have an opportunity to reach their full capacity. 

I strongly support the ongoing enrichment classes we sponsor.   Children need to find their niche and I want to help them do that by helping raise the funds to pay the experts to teach these youngsters.  Learning is a life long endeavor, and can build a child’s self esteem.  The rewards are enormous when a child discovers their talent or passion.

I have previously served 8 yrs. on a school board and have always been a strong advocate for children.  A friend who was on the board of Blue Skies encouraged me to join.  

My hope is that we can expose as many children as possible to activities that they would not otherwise be able to participate in, and that their activity will become a passion and a skill they can carry with them forever.

I am an x-ray tech but my passion at this time is gardening.  Plants are like children – they need loving care and nurturing.
