Tell me something about yourself:
I am 27 years old. I love real estate investing and playing volleyball. I went to Western Washington University and majored in Finance and Economics. I have been in Bellingham for 8 years and love all that it offers.
What interested and motivated you to join the BSFC board?
What interested me most about BSFC was the enrichment program. I remember as a young child being sponsored at the boys and girls club and how much those programs helped me in life. I was motivated to join the BSFC board because I really wanted to be a part of the decisions and give my time to raising awareness and funds for the amazing programs that BSFC offers.
What goals do you have as a board member?
My goals as a board member are to help bring new members to the board, take my connections in the community and link them to supporting the BSFC.
What motivates you in life?
Many things motivate me in life. My family is a huge motivator. The need and desire to be successful truly is a passion and motivates me every day to work hard.
Sum up your experience and involvement in the community:
For the past 8 years I have been very active in our community. I have volunteered at the angel tree in the mall for the Salvation Army, assisted families for Christmas, collected food for our local food bank, & have worked with Whatcom Young Professionals on many fund raising events. I am a board member for Toastmasters, Women’s Professional Network and now Blue Skies for Children. I have been very active with the Bellingham Chamber, and in assisting our community in becoming financially wiser.
Describe your professional career:
My professional career is always evolving. I have had the pleasure of selling real estate for the past 7 years, and funding loans for 3 years. Currently I sell real estate, own my own property management company (Lighthouse Property Management) and a transcription company (WordCrafters NW). I am a very passionate business owner and real estate investor.

I am very passionate about real estate investing, education and playing volleyball.
